Quite A Dream (GB)
Quite A Dream (GB)
2020 bay filly by Oasis Dream (IRE) ex Quite A Thing (GB) (Dutch Art (IRE))
This filly is by Oasis Dream, a fast racehorse who won three Group 1’s including the Nunthorpe and the July Cup. He has been an excellent stallion who consistently produces top-class horses such as Muharrar and Midday, and last year’s Irish 2000 Guineas winner Native Trail proves that he can still sire a truly top class horse!
The dam, Quite A Thing, was a three time winner on the track and from a nice family, being a sister to the useful Shunned and Dazed and Amazed. She has already produced a talented horse in Yulong Gold Fairy, a multiple Group 3 winner who reached a top rating of 105. This filly is attractive and powerful looking, and with the pedigree to back up her looks, is a very exciting recruit to Hot To Trot. She performed beyond expectation on debut, having not been tuned up for her first racecourse appearance, to finish a staying-on third. She is leased from Lady Fairhaven.

Trainer
Ollie Sangster is one of the newest trainers on the block, having only recently been granted his license to train. He is very much bred to do the job, with the Sangster family being ingrained in the history of international horseracing, and could be training from nowhere more appropriate than Manton. Ollie has spent time with American trainer Wesley Ward, in Ireland with Joseph O’Brien and with Charlie Hills and Hugo Palmer in the UK.
