Quite A Dream (GB)
Quite A Dream (GB)
2020 bay filly by Oasis Dream (IRE) ex Quite A Thing (GB) (Dutch Art (IRE))
Quite A Dream is a lovely filly by Oasis Dream, a multiple Group 1 winning sprinter in his day who has gone on to be a wonderful sire. He is not getting any younger but is still siring top-class horses, not least the 2022 Irish 2000 Guineas winner Native Trail. The dam, Quite A Thing, was a three-time winner and a half-sister to the useful Shunned and Dazed and Amazed. She is the dam of Yulong Gold Fairy, a highly rated and multiple Group 3 winning half-sister to our filly.
Despite not being fully tuned up, Quite A Dreamwas a promising 3rd on debut at Salisbury in August which gives us plenty to be optimistic about this year. She did sustain a setback thereafter but that appears well behind her now and she should be ready to run early in the spring. She is leased from Lady Fairhaven.

Trainer
Ollie started training in 2023 and got off to a flyer, with the Listed winning filly Shuwari finishing second in the Group 1 Fillies Mile in September, making her a Guineas contender for this season! Ollie learned his craft from trainers around the world, including Wesley Ward, Joseph O’Brien and Charlie Hills, before taking out his license. He trains from Manton, an estate with which his family has a long and successful association.
