Sea Me Dance (GB)
Sea Me Dance (GB)
2020 bay filly by Sea The Stars (Ire) ex Whirly Dancer (GB) (Danehill Dancer (Ire))
Sea Me Dance is a neat and compact three year old filly by the outstanding stallion Sea The Stars, sire of Baaeed, Stradivarius and many other horses of the highest calibre. She is out of Whirly Dancer, a half-sister to the dual Group 1 winning Poet’s Word and a talented mare on the track herself. She has already produced a very useful racehorse in the Group 2 winning and Group 1 placed Beckford.
Sea Me Dance ran twice as a two year old and impressed on both occasions, second time out finishing runner up the subsequent Pretty Polly winner Running Lion. After running well without getting her head in front earlier this summer, she was stepped up in trip in a Fillies Novice at Kempton in July where she won comfortably under Harry Davies. There should be plenty more to come from her now at this trip so we are looking forward to the rest of the season with her! Sea Me Dance is leased from Brook Stud.

Trainer
Sean took up training at the age of 26 after a career as a National Hunt jockey. He achieved great success in the UK, training over 250 winners including a Group 1 winner with Mistle Cat, before a lucrative period training in Hong Kong. Sean is now based back in Newmarket at Shalfleet Stables, former home of Classic winners Sixties Icon and Araafa, and his investment in the excellent facilities there are rewarding him with a very good strike rate and plenty of winners!
