Manages Hot To Trot on a daily basis, communicating with members as well as organising and hosting racedays/events. Sam also manages the Kennet Valley Thoroughbred Syndicates and is a small breeder in his own right. He was elected the youngest ever member of the ROA Board in July 2017 whilst he has already served on the board of the TBA and as the TBA’s representative for the Retraining Of Racehorses (ROR). His previous experience includes working for Owner/ Breeder the Niarchos Family and on leading stud farms in New Zealand (Windsor Park Stud) and America (Darby Dan Farm) courtesy of the Joss Collins Scholarship, having graduated from the Irish National Stud Thoroughbred Breeding Course beforehand.
A keen formbook student, Sam won the 2008/2009 Racing Post Tote Ten To Follow competition, and he tries to put his knowledge of the form book to good use when helping with the race planning for the Hot To Trot horses, and of course the Scoop6 Syndicate on the summer Saturdays!
