A super start to the National Hunt season!

Our first runner of the National Hunt season proper could not have gone better! Of Course You Can lived up to her name by getting her well-deserved first win at Ludlow on Wednesday with a great team of 16 Members and family/friends to cheer her home. She was given an excellent ride by Sean Bowen and had clearly benefitted from a break after showing good form earlier in the year. Congratulations to all the Members of Hot To Trot Jumping and to Neil Mulholland and his team.

It has been a good week for Hot To Trot Racing, with a first time out two-year-old winner in Personal Best (trained by Jonny Portman) on Tuesday, so long may this run of form continue…!

Of Course You Can comes home victorious at Ludlow

The day started with a visit to see Extra Cover at Henry Daly’s yard, just minutes from Ludlow Racecourse, before Members headed on to the racecourse to enjoy the afternoon’s racing. A perfect October’s day for any jumps racing enthusiast!

Of Course You Can has set the tone for the rest of the season and she hopefully provided the first of many winners this term! We are looking forward to seeing several of the team making their seasonal debuts in the next few weeks, including the very talented Hollygrove Cha Cha who is set to make her hurdling debut…
