2022 Bay filly by Time Test ex Spring Run (Nathaniel)
Time Test is a very well-bred stallion who has sired several Group winners in his first years at stud. The dam, Spring Run, was a winner on the track and is a half-sister to Annecdote who won the Sandringham Handicap at Royal Ascot before going on to score at Group level in the USA. As with Anecdote and Spring Run, Jonathan Portman will also train this filly.
This a very athletic filly who, whilst out a staying Nathaniel mare, doesn’t look backwards at all. She is leased from Mrs Rosie Pease.
Jonny is a Royal Ascot winning trainer based in Lambourn at Whitcoombe House Stables, where he has been for the past ten years. Stable stars have included the memorable filly Mrs Danvers who won five races on the bounce, including a Listed race and a Group 3, and Rumstar who won the Group 3 Cornwallis Stakes a few years ago.
