2022 Bay filly by Due Dilligence ex Satsuma (Compton Place)

This filly is by Due Dilligence, a high-class racehorse who was runner up in the Group 1 Diamond Jubilee Stakes at Royal Ascot. He has sired some very fast horses, none faster than the full sister to this filly, Good Vibes, who was a precocious two year old with a great deal of speed. She won the Listed Marygate Stakes at York in May and the Group 3 Cornwallis Stakes at Newmarket in October. The damsire of Good Vibes and our filly, Compton Place, appears to work particularly well as a cross with Due Dilligence, so we are hopeful that we might have another very fast Whitsbury filly on our hands!

This filly is a really good model who could be one that will be ready to run early. We know this family well, with the promising half-sister Apeeling racing in our silks too. She is another filly leased from the wonderful Whitsbury Manor Stud.

Trainer

John and Sean Quinn are racing’s newest training partnership, as of January of this year. John has trained countless winners over the past 25 years and has enjoyed new heights recently with the wonderful filly Highfield Princess, one of the most loved Group 1 sprinters of recent years, who has helped the team win over £1 million in prize money for the last two seasons. It is great news that the filly stays in training this year! Sean has assisted John for many years and we look forward to seeing what they can achieve with both of their names on the license.
