2022 Bay filly by Mohaather ex Kerry's Dream (Tobougg)
Another impressive physical is this filly from the first crop of Mohaather, the hugely talented miler trained by Marcus Tregoning. He was a Group 3 winner at two and three, before improving further to win the Group 1 Sussex Stakes at 4. His first 2yo crop come with much expectation and hope.
The dam, Kerry’s Dream, was a winner on debut herself and has produced the Listed-winning two year old Ventura Mist and the very highly rated Maljaa at stud to date. This filly looks strong and powerful and will be another that we hope to see out relatively early. She is leased from Mrs Bumble Mitchell whose farm also raised our Group 3 winner of 2019 Kurious.
Tom is one of Hot To Trot’s favourite trainers having handled the career of the wonderfully tough Roman Mist, who won five races (including at Listed level) and was third in a Group 3 on Derby Day in 2022 for us. Tom started training in 2019 after gaining experience around the world and latterly as assistant to Richard Hannon, and is based at the purpose-built Whitehouse Stables in Upper Lambourn. Last season brought Listed success with Luisa Casati in the Daisy Warwick Stakes at Goodwodo, and Tom’s dual valuable sales race winner Woodhay Wonder will be one to follow again this season!
