Get Ahead Group 1 placed

Fast becoming a Hot To Trot legend, Get Ahead strengthened her already rock-solid pedigree by finishing second in the Group 1 Flying Five Stakes at the Curragh last Sunday. She had all the fancied runners beaten a furlong out and looked like she was going to take home Group 1 glory, but was just collared in the dying strides by Moss Tucker, going down by half a length at the line. This was an incredible performance from this filly, who has always been held in the highest regard by trainer Clive Cox. She really proved that she is a Group 1 contender and we were all just so proud of her performance! All roads now lead to the Prix de L’Abbaye at Longchamp on Arc day on the 1st of October – what an amazing journey she is taking us on!!
