Hollygrove Cha Cha (IRE)
2020 Bay filly by Affinisea ex Hollygrove Rumba (Indian Danehill)
Hollygrove Cha Cha is a very exciting four-year-old filly by the hot young sire Affinisea. She is out of Hollygrove Rhumba, a half-sister to the very talented but ill-fated Grade 1 winner Captain Cutter and the useful Gowel Road.
Hollygrove Cha Cha was a mid-season addition to our team last season and she didn’t take long to become a new favourite, winning a bumper on debut and then following up under a penalty in April. She has now won two races over hurdles, taking her record to four from four and we couldn’t be more excited about what the future holds for her! She is leased from Salome Brennan.

Trainer
Jamie is a former amateur jockey who took both the Grand Military and Royal Artillery Gold cups several times, along with many other point to point and rules winners. After three years as Assistant to Nicky Henderson, Jamie started training in 2008 and moved to Folly House in 2011. Since then he has trained almost 400 winners, including Cheltenham Festival and Graded victories. Another career highlight came this season when Jamie won the Coral Gold Cup (formerly the Hennessy) at Newbury, a most coveted prize for Lambourn trainers in particular.
