Molto Bene (IRE)
2019 Bay filly by Jukebox Jury ex Molo (Kalanisi)
Molto Bene is a four- year-old filly by the Irish St Leger winner Jukebox Jury, a son of the excellent sire-of-sires, Montjeu. Since going to stud, Jukebox Jury has sired the wonderful dual-purpose mare Princess Zoeand Grade 1 winners Il Etait Temps and Farclas to name just two of his talented jumps progeny. Molto Bene is out of the three-time winner Molo who is from a great family and has already produced a good horse in Cuthbert Dibble. Molo is a half-sister to a host of decent horses including the Listed winner Banjaxed Girl, who is herself the dam of a very good horse in Le Milos, winner of the Coral Gold Cup at Newbury.
Molto Bene is diminutive in size but has shown herself to be supremely tough and honest, and an excellent jumper of hurdles. She got her head in front on her fourth start at Plumpton in February, and after a wind-op this autumn she won impressively at Chepstow on seasonal reappearance. There could be more to come from this likeable mare…
