Molto Bene wins on seasonal debut

Our excellent start to the new Jumps season continued last week with an impressive win from Molto Bene on her first run after her summer break. After a small wind operation, trainer Charlie Longsdon was very positive about Molto Bene’s work at home but we were all pleasantly surprised with her seasonal debut!

Lilly Pinchin has a great partnership with this mare and gave her a great, confident ride to cross the line in front. Molto Bene jumped with her usual zest and really stuck her head out to beat the odds-on favourite Loverdose by 1/2 a length, cheered home by a big team of Hot To Trot Members!

With this victory under her belt, Charlie is looking to the future with Molto Bene now with even the possibility of an appearance at Cheltenham’s “Christmas Meeting” on the cards! While this will require yet another step up from the mare, she is a very tough girl and you would be foolish to underestimate her!

It has been an outstanding start to the new season with three of our four runners so far winning – long may this continue! With plenty of action on the track coming up in the next few weeks along with our trip to Windsor for the return of racing there, December looks like it could be an exciting month for Hot To Trot Jumping Members!
