2022 Bay filly by Bated Breath ex Love Your Looks (Iffraaj)
This filly is by Bated Breath, a high-class sprinter for Juddmonte who has gone on to be a solid stallion for the past eight years. He is the sire of plenty of sharp, early horses such as Jersey Stakes winner Space Traveller, National Stakes runner up Beckford, and notably several Group and Listed winning fillies. One of these is Breathtaking Look, the full-sister to our filly, who won first time out for Stuart Williams before climbling the handicap ranks. She went on to win the two Group 3’s and was Group 2 placed – a very tough and honest filly just like her dam, Love Your Looks, who was a multiple winner and Listed placed filly herself.
Our filly is powerful, scopey and whilst not obviously an early type, is a great addition to the HTT team. She is leased from Mr Chris Ellis and Mr Thorsten Fedden.
Stuart is a very shrewd and talented trainer based at Diomed Stables in Newmarket and he has trained over 1000 winners in his career, including the Group 3 Sceptre Stakes at Doncaster with Breaktaking Look, the full sister to our filly. He has also completed the notable feat of training a winner at every flat course in Britain! Last season saw Stuart train 38 winners, with an amazing seven of those coming from the remarkable Quinault.
