Apeeling (GB)

Apeeling is by a top stallion in Showcasing, sire of top-class horses such as Mohaather and Advertise, as well as our own Group 1 placed filly Get Ahead. The dam, Satsuma, is a half-sister to the Group 2 Flying Childers runner-up Astrophysics and is the dam of the talented Group 3 winner Good Vibes, as well as a Japanese Listed winner in Yakushima.

The form of Apeeling’s three runs to date is very good, and she looks a sure-fire winner when she reappears this spring. She was allotted an initial handicap rating of 77 which will provide the opportunity for some fun campaigning this season, perhaps taking in the Palace Of Holyroodhouse Handicap over 5 furlongs at Royal Ascot in June. She is yet another lovely filly leased from Whitsbury Manor Stud, a partnership that has worked out so well over the years with the likes of Heartache, Get Ahead and many more!
