Hot To Trot Jumping team for 2020/2021 announced!
It doesn’t seem long ago that we were at Warwick with Black Tulip and Trincomalee, unaware that they were to be our last two National Hunt runners of the 2019/2020 season! Autumn always comes around fast, however, and we are now delighted to reveal our jumping team for the coming season.
We have a hugely exciting team of jumpers to go to war with this winter, including some old favourites returning for another season. Black Tulip and Lilly Pedlar will be ready early to take advantage of the better ground in the early autumn. Also returning are multiple winners Trincomalee and Drewmain Legend who we should have plenty of fun with this season. We look forward to seeing Familiar Spirit (Fame and Glory x Sounds Familiar) make her debut on the track after seeing her progress nicely at home last season.
We also have three exciting new fillies joining the team, each beautifully bred and in great hands. Maroochi is a three-year-old filly by Presenting who will be trained by Alan King, and is one to look out for in juvenile hurdles/junior bumpers this season. Chabichou Doupitou (quite a mouthful!!) is a four-year-old filly by Martaline, out of the Grade 1 winning Tidara Angel; she will be trained by Phillip Hobbs and we are really thrilled to have such a blue-blooded filly under the Hot to Trot banner. Finally, a Midnight Legend filly out of Listed winner Blue Buttons named Last Of A Legend, who will be trained, like her dam, by Harry Fry.
It really is an exciting line up of horses and we can’t wait for the season to get going! Owners are now returning to the racecourse, with October being the target for spectators being allowed back on the course, and we are now allowed to host our regular stable visits once more. We are currently finalising our programme of events for the season, including the Grand National course walk and trip to Punchestown postponed from last season.
Limited spaces remain in Hot To Trot Jumping for this season so please do get in touch if you are interested in joining our great fun syndicate. The cost is an all-in £2,095 for the year, with no hidden costs, and membership restricted to 80 people who each receive a share of prize money won. We pride ourselves on our regular and in-depth bulletins on our horses, and our members enjoy regular stable visits and other organised events including an end-of-season lunch. We always have a lot of fun – join us!
