Moonlit Potter (GB)
Moonlit Potter (GB)
2022 bay filly by Pether’s Moon (Ire) ex Susie Potter (Lily Potter)
This attractive filly is by Pether’s Moon, a Grade 1 winning son of Dylan Thomas, himself an excellent National Hunt sire. Pether’s Moon has made a good start at stud, with his first UK runners catching the eye on the racecourse in early 2022, including several winning fillies.
The dam is out of Lily Potter, making her a half-sister to the useful Potters Story. Lily Potter herself was out of the talented race mare Potters Gale who produced Kayf Grace, winner of the Grade 2 Aintree Bumper, as well as three other classy horses and the dam of Potterman, a Grade 3 winning chaser this season for Alan King. This is a family full of talented mares, and we hope this filly can be one of them!

Trainer
Henry is a National Hunt trainer based at Downton Hall Stables in Shropshire, where he took over from Captain Tim Forster in 1998, and trained his first Grade 1 winner in just his second season with a license when Behrajan won the Tolworth Novices Hurdle at Sandown. Henry went on to train several more Grade 1 winners, along with Cheltenham Festival and big handicap successes. He currently trains the promising Hillcrest, a Grade 2 winning Novice Hurdler last season who looks to have the scope to be a superstar!
